Palestinian women organize

Palestinian women are at the center of Palestinian society, including in the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon. Women workers suffer from the same experience of discrimination and bear primary responsibility for raising their families. Palestinian mothers raise their children with a commitment to the right to return and the knowledge of their original villages, cities and lands inside occupied Palestine. However, there are almost no organizations of Palestinian women in Lebanon, while externally funded NGOs ignore Palestinian women as active participants in organizing, struggle and the future of Palestine.

The Palestine International Center organizes Palestinian women to participate in the process of return and liberation, to protect their rights, and to empower their full involvement in the camps and the broader Palestinian freedom struggle.
