Palestine International Center opens its second location, a new youth center in Bourj al-Barajneh camp

Under the slogan “Continuing Our Struggle for Liberation and Return,” and under the auspices of the Palestine International Center, the Ajyal al-Tahrir (Generations of Liberation) Youth and Student Network inaugurated its central headquarters in Bourj al-Barajneh refugee camp in Beirut, following its launch at its founding conference held on September 19.
The opening ceremony witnessed a significant turnout of young people, with the participation of the Palestine Women’s Movement – Alkarama, the Al-Majdal Dabke and Folklore Troupe, Al-Majdal Football Club, and the Al-Majdal Girls’ Basketball Team. Also participating in the event were Al-Karmel Club from Shatila, the Palestinian Sports Network, and a large gathering of organizations and friends of the Center in Beirut.
The opening of the new headquarters marks the first practical step following the founding conference. It will serve as an open space for organizing, political education, and volunteer work, hosting cultural, social, sports, and media initiatives, while strengthening the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and defending the rights of Palestinian refugees in Lebanon.
The organizers of the Ajyal al-Tahrir Network affirmed that the coming period will focus on developing its political vision and organizational structure, expanding participation, launching practical programs to implement the decisions of the first conference, and broadening youth and student activities throughout the Palestinian refugee camps in Lebanon.
